All of you people who wrote mean things about James Dunlap are just jealous. He was an exceptional prof and tried to motivate his students in every way possible. I myself was not one of his "favorites" but could see how great he was.

Don't take him if you are not an animation major. He expects projects to be perfect or you get a C regardless. He spends office hours eating subway. His syllabus is deceiving with his own interpretation. Other professors don't even like him (ask them).

He helps only who he wants to help. He doesn't explain things and I felt ignored, especially if you aren't into the animation he is. I didn't learn much and felt my time could have been spent better elsewhere.
