His intro class was super boring but super easy. If you need to pass the intro easily this might be for you. Literally posted the final exam online and let us bring notes. Fell asleep in his class every day. Literally never did the reading and I was fine. You get what you get I guess

Comment:

One of the most amazing Professors I've had. His lectures are engaging and be prepared to laugh at his jokes. I had a 9am with him and it always woke me up and prepared me for the rest of the day. He's a really kind guy and he doesn't try to trick you on his exams.

Very liberal. Very clear. Likes to tell his own personal stories. Will ensure you have the information and tells you crystal clear what he wants in the journals. Various times he would bring snacks in for us in class. If you email him, he will respond extremely quick. Very kind man. Appreciates participation.

Attendence is mandatory- I have seen him call out students that are absent. He does this because he actually gets to know all of his students. Always available through email or office hours with help. He is one of my favorite professors and truly wants to see his students succeed!

I have had him for 2 classes- American gov and Foundations of Policy. His classes are not too hard, but they are a lot of work. If you pay attention in class, he basically gives you the answers. He always clarified questions. He assigned the textbook for reading, but rarely references them. GREAT professor and I would recommend his class to anyone!

Took into to Govt with him. He is a great guy and knows his stuff. The journals he assigns are more like papers, but they are pretty easy and there are no tests in this class which is great (minus the final, but you get to bring in a cheat cheat for the final)

Not bad at all for an 8:30 class. He was interesting and you don't have to do the readings that he assigns, he never references them in class. He may be going senile. Somewhat funny guy. BE CAREFUL! the quizzes/midterm will have nothing to do with what you "learned" in class. Take notes even if you think they will never matter. Fair grader.

although he may be easy he is truely boring. we had a 3 hr class and he made us stay and do serious busy work, which is no unusual with him. 1 class We went through each chapter of each book and anazlyzed the titles of the chapters. He is unwilling to help you outside of class too. He also never will look at you in the eye when speaking

Terrific prof! Is easy but not boring and you don't dread going to class. Supposedly liberally biased, but I have yet to be bothered and I'm a staunch Republican. He will bend over backwards to help you and never makes you feel stupid. Good for majors and non-majors alike.

I also had him for Public Policy Analysis, but he's a great professor. Very interesting and easy. He lets you take a "cheat sheet" to exams so you can write out the essays beforehand. He's very funny and engaging.
