Values the opinions of his chosen pets over any of his other students and also places himself in unnecessary student drama that would probably otherwise resolve itself if he didnt feel the need to step in. Definitely not single handedly (the students helped too) but partially responsible for ruining my band and college experience.

This teacher is very biased. He does not let students give him any input for music or anything. He is bipolar! Sometimes he's a cool guy who be hype than other times he will blast you for no reason. Wants you to get your own band so don't bother to offer suggestions. He only rewards those who follows his every command.

Robken is crazy, and rarely has any clue what he's talking about. The bad sexual innuendo is unbearable, and that damn hat needs to die. I will admit he is funny though. The long sleeves in August because of the psoriasis was funny as hell.

He's very enthusiastic and makes it a LOT of fun! He takes personal interest in his students even though there are a whole lot of them. He's always encouraging and kind, but also enforces discipline, but never in a mean way. He keeps everyone in line because it's hard not to respect and like the guy. He's great!

Mr. Robken is an awesome band director. He goes above and beyond to help out "his kids". He's very entertaining and Tech Band wouldn't be what it is without him. I think the world of him....and his hat rocks!!

Awesome guy, very generous with scholarship money. He's willing to help anyone who needs it, and he puts all of his effort in the band all of the time. He's been like a second father to me in many ways, and he's an all around great person.
