Jim's class was not easy. However, he set me up for 4 years of success. He may be difficult to pay close attention to but he does know the material and if you focus, you really reap the rewards. Jim wants his students to do well but they have to want it, too.

Worst teacher I have had in my life. He is very uncomfortable infront of a class. When you can actually understand or hear him talk its seems like he somewhat knows what he is talking about. He needs to learn how to be a teacher...it would just be easier for him to retire though.

The most nervous and shifty Prof I've ever known. As an English teacher you'd think he'd know how to perfect the pause of a period in speech. This guy like to talk and talk. No room for class discussion. And on top of that, he likes to patronize the hell out of you. If you want to put and end to your creative writing skills, take this course.

Tough marker, but in my opinion, fair. Gives good remarks (definately not a lazy marker) and is willing to help you out if you ask. I got the impression that he wants his students to succeed, and though the material can be dry he presents it and handles it well.

Absolutely horrible professor, he rarely gives grades above B's even when you ask him for specific instructions. Inconsistent marking scheme and ridiculous paper expectations. Even though Scott is very knowledgeable, he's not good for your GPA.

Failed his class the first time I took it. The second time around I paid attention and did quite well. If you are eager to learn and don't intend on goofing around, this is the teacher you want. If you show you want to learn, he will bend over backwards to teach you.
