Easy class. 4 tests all multiple choice. Repeats everything which makes it so easy to memorize everything! Nice guy, funny as well. Enjoy his class and find it a nice relief to have a professor who isn't a liberal trying to shove their beliefs down my throat.

I wish he said everything only once. The first time is interesting, but sitting through the same thing again is a torture. Test are easy. You don't need a book if you take good notes. I love the real life stories!! I wish you could attend every other class then you would pay attention all day. He does take attendance at least in my class.

he has boring lectures that he doesn't take attendance for but all 4 of his tests are multiple choice and from his lectures so you won't do too great with skipping class. there's no homework or any other greats other than the tests. he has some very strong political views and isn't afraid to state them, which gets very annoying

I enjoyed his intro to criminal justice class and Smith was my favorite professor this semester. Did not use the book much. Only 4 exams which are easy and right from the notes. The class is an easy A if you study your notes.I learned a lot from Smith's class and would definitely take him again in the future!

Its easy to fall asleep in this class because he just talks and talks about things you just do not care about. But when he writes something on the boar, write it down, it will be on the test. Overall it is an easy A, but only if you actually pay attention. You don't even need the book

This is an easy class. Tests are right from the book, sometimes questions are worded weird. He might teach 3 points the whole class and repeats himself ALOT.Usually get out early, but he spends most of class rambling about his political views which are sometimes offensive. If you're irritated by ignorance, don't torture yourself by taking his class

Don't bother with the book at all. You can't go wrong if you attend all the classes, pay attention and take notes. I got an easy A. I dont know why people think the tests were hard, I thought they were very straight forward and straight out of the notes. He repeats himself a lot, but thats how you know what is gonna be on the test.

first of all, don't buy the book. all the tests are right out of the notes so save yourself the $100. the class isn't difficult but he does talk a lot. however, he manages to let you out early most days. but if you're looking for an entertaining class, this isn't it as it's rather boring at times.

Nice guy. pretty funny. repetative but not horrbile. sometimes class can get boring but he lets you out early. only problem i would say is his tests. very unclear, a lot of things on the test are not the things he repeats a lot in class. if there were some type of study guide would be a great class.

don't listen to what the others say. he's repetitive, yea, but that means you should PAY ATTENTION because it will probably be on the tests! 4 tests (1 of them being a final). 2 absences allowed for good/bad/no reason. all in all, take him if you actually want to learn something.
