Love this guy. Has an animal spirit from a higher plane of existence. Gentle, soft spoken, caring, smart. Took a faculty-led study abroad course with him to Spain, Italy, and France--and was blown away by how much he knows.

Awesome guy, It takes weeks to get graded work back. If you read you will pass for sure. Very easy to get him off track which can be fun at times. Took him for Happiness in J-term. Take it if you can!

VERY SLOW GRADER!!! Doesn't put grades on blackboard so never know how you are doing in the class until you finally get a paper back. Class was just random discussions sometimes about the material. He has no filter so that was fun, probably the only fun part

Pretty cool guy. Everything is online except homework papers which you hand in to him. Takes FOREVER to get things back and not the easiest grader. Doesn't respond to emails for weeks. Class was pointless, we barely talked about the material instead talked about random stuff.

All quizzes and tests were online. Online midterm and final were very difficult. Class is pointless because you just google all the quiz answers while you are taking it. Is obsessed with participation but miscalculates the grade completely. The class was filled with students thirsty for attention, make yourself known quickly. Rude attitude.

Took the adult philosophical inquires class. Good sense of humor, down to earth, very understanding, and he really knows his stuff. I am not sure if he holds different standards for regular students though.

Really laid back and easy going in class. Participation screws you over even if you do participate a lot. You basically have to raise your hand almost once every class. Quizzes and tests are all online, don't let it fool you its philosophy so there is no definite answers online for a lot of the questions

Snyder is a GREAT professor. he likes to teach his students as much as he can as well as have fun with them. If he considers he is just wasting your time, he will let you leave early. he is nice but confident, i would call him a charlie harper, smart and likes to play with you. Tests and quizzes online, easy hw.

Dude is the man. Super laid back, summarizes intricate concepts very well and relates them to relevant things. I laughed quite frequently although most of my peers did not, likely because they are imbeciles. Moves at a good pace, very fair, utilizes fun tools to drive home concepts. Put in the work for YOURSELF and you will do great.

Took 3 Philosophy classes with him, including Postmodernism. Was a great teacher until he humiliated me in front of a whole class. That's right, I did poorly on a test and he belittled me in front of the entire class for it. Highly unprofessional if you ask me. What goes around comes around.

He's pretty cool. He tries to make it relatable and gives lots of examples. didnt like him at first but the more you know him the more you like him. He doesnt filter a lot of what he says but that makes him funny. I would definitly take another class with him

hes not that hard because you dont do ANYTHING in class but have dicussions, make sure to participate cuz that is huge come grading time, tests are online so not that hard .... however,he is weird and dry and comes off as such a smart ass, he thinks too highly of himself and looks down on others, once called me a pothead which is far from the truth

Great guy. I was wary of the comments students on campus made about him but he really is a non-partisan prof. He showed that there are more important things in edu than liberal views. Other than that class goes to last minute, his lectures are always interesting since he gets off topic a lot. He inspired me to pick up PHIL as a second major.
