You wont know your grade till the end of the semester he dont post grades on blackboard. Hes not specific about anything hes all over the place with his lectures and side conversations. Quizzes are extremely long and so are tests. Make sure you write down the power point slides because he doesnt post them. This class was a mess

This guy was very confusing. He never tells you what will be on the test and quizzes. During lectures, are difficult to follow. 3 to 4 textbooks for a lot of reading. I was confused all semester Short papers due for each section and 2 major papers. Do all of them they will help you in the end. If you can avoid it try not to take JT

Mr. TerBest is one of my favorite professors of all time! The majority of the class is spent going over some material from the textbook which he puts into power point (basically his own notes available on BB) and then the rest is a whole lot of discussion from a myriad of viewpoints. If I had the chance I'd take one of his classes in a heartbeat!

Some peoples comments (on this site) are pretty crazy - crazy - crazy. I thought Mr. T. was excellent. Very interesting philosophy class. He did give us some controversial information.... like both sides of many issues. Unusual for college classes. Well worth the time.

Take this class if you want to learn only about how wrong creation science is, because thats all he taught and though he believes in it, all you have to do is look at his arguments to know how wrong this guy is. He invites kids to his house to talk creation science, which kinda creeps me out as well. Shouldn't be teaching philosophy.

Too many tangents. He didn't cover everything he had planned, and he digressed so much, I felt like I didn't learn more then half of what the other classes got out of the material.
