Nice lady. Class gets boring sometimes. Goes in-depth into material and grades pretty strictly on quizzes and tests. You'll leave class feeling more or less impartial to everything. Kind of a BLAH class.

Very unorganized always late to class.When I took her she never stuck to the course work. She would come to class talking about things that had nothing to do with the course,which was a waste of class time. If you're a LD/ADHD STUDENT DO NOT TAKE HER!!!! She's no help!!

scatter-minded woman with horrible fashion sense. knows nothing about pop culture, or anything not printed in the glossary of the text. out of touch with her students and most of reality. very dull, expect a lot of doodling time.

So far I've no clue what the negative reviews are talking about - Pilardi's one of the best in the department, which is saying a lot. Ridiculous knowledge of subject matter and impressive knowledge of popular culture (very relevant to this particular subject). Extremely nice woman, lectures don't always cover everything but what can ya do.

Pilardi is an excellent theoretician and a wonderful professor. Although her lecture style can be somewhat challenging, she is always willing to assist her students in excelling in her classes.
