This is one of the easiest classes I have ever taken, and not in a good way. We covered in an entire semester what I did in 1 month in high school. So if you have ever learned Evolution and Genetics, you will be bored. But Dr. D was a good teacher, she was very thorough and clear, it was just a very slow pace that drove me nuts.

She's a really nice person, really cares about her students! always willing to help and replies emails promptly. 3 exams 1 paper and discussion board determines ur grade. exams are fair. the paper is 10 pgs long, but once started, its not bad at all! Def take her!

I really enjoyed her class! It is not an easy A, but if you study some and put in effort it is not difficult to get an A. She really got me interested in the class, which helps. I love her sense of humor, even if it only shows up on occasion. Always emails back promptly.

The way she presents her notes can be tedious and unorganized, but you learn to deal. Dr. D. helps with any questions you have, and kind to you if you are polite and participate. The tests were somewhat hard. Just understand your notes thoroughly and you will be fine. DON'T BUY THE BOOK!

Dr. D is really nice, but as the last person said this class is NOT an easy A. You have a huge group presentation and a 10-12 pg research paper and her tests are very difficult. If you're not a science major or interested in science stay away from this class. Even a basic bio background won't help you at all. You don't need the book.

Dr D is a very nice lady and not a horrible teacher.True,the textbook is not needed.However,dont be fooled into thinking the class is a breeze.10page paper,presentation,and 3 tests:that's your grade.Doing bad on even one of these can and will screw you over.Attendance is necessary but even then you may find yourself struggling on the tests. AVOID!
