this class is all lectures. she rambles for the whole hour, and you sit there thinking what you just experienced. she is funny, smart, and old- but not a good prof. you need to be willing to read chapters by yourself before tests in order to get a good grade. she curves her tests which helps out everyone. she is ok.

Professor Blaustein is a good prof if you are smart and can keep up with fast paced classes and you are good at learning on your own. If you cannot keep up with random lectures, rambling, and teaching yourself do not take this class, but if you can then go for it, everyone learns differently.

Professor Blaustein is a really good teacher. She is a lecture style teacher so you need to pay attention. BUY THE BOOK you will use it for all homework assignments. She grades on a curve so for the tests either study your ass off or if you bomb pray that everyone does as well. If I had to describe her in one word it would be LIT

she is really funny and the homework isn't hard at all. but since her lectures consist of talking about the brain one minute and then planners the next, i highly suggest no one take her because you will basically teach yourself and you will fail. its more bio than an intro to psych class. the only way I'm passing is because she curves.

I have Blaustein as my PSY 1000 professor and she's the best. She's really funny, caring, and understanding. Her lectures can be disorganized sometimes, but overall she discusses the important key points and gets everything done. The tests are easy as long as you take notes and study. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I kinda struggled in her class because her lectures were kinda all over the place. You NEED the textbook to do Hw and to study for her exams (total 4). She's really funny and sweet and she is willing to help anyone who needs it. I did the extra credit assignment and passed with a B-. Teach yourself from the textbook tho

She is hilarious, very easy going and cares for her students a lot. Classes are fun, but you have to pay attention. Homework every class 25 key terms. Very hard tests, and tests are your entire grade. She drops the lowest test score and curves the test grades based on the class.

Joan is amazing as a person, albeit a little crazy as a teacher. Her class isn't a guaranteed A, but if you actually study (Unlike Me) you'll do great. Defintely recommend her

This professor was by far the best professor. I am a freshman, and was nervous at first about how my psychology class would go and... it went extremely well. She is so sweet, and really cares for her students. Do the work, and show up to class and you will do fine. Professor Joan gets an A+ as a teacher!

Professor Blaustein is an excellent teacher. Mrs. Blaustein can keep you attention and is willing to help her students. The homework is easy, all you have to do is vocabulary words. As long as you study then you will do great on the tests. You will be exempt from the final if you ace the first three tests. She gives extra credit at the end which is a presentation. The way she grades helps you out a lot.

LOVE LOVE LOVE her. She's really erratic and fun and I love going to her class. Her exams aren't easy, but she grades on a curve and emails you a study guide and will always tell you ahead of time what the extra credit questions will be. She even goes off in spanish (jokingly) sometimes. She's just really fun and I HIGHLY recommend her.
