Comment:
Even tho she was a tough grader and I got a shock about my grade at the very end, as long as you come in to her office hours personally and explain your circumstances she can be very understanding and assist with your grades/retests if needed. Its an extremely math intensive course for a BSOS majors who arent very math inclined

She is a disconnected professor. Not only does she force you to pay an extra 90-120 bucks for an online E-book to take quizzes (when we have this free thing called Elms to use for that) she spends the entire class trying to explain one thing and doesn't teach you how. She creates intense amounts of unnecessarily tough graded work that takes too muc

Sociology of aging was very interesting. There are books involved but we rarely talked about them. There are a lot of journal readings but they're short & relate to class & are part of the exam. She doesn't post her lectures online so you must be in class to take notes or make a buddy. Not very engaging but very knowledgeable. Test format is T/F

Demography of the Aging was an interesting course. We had reading response memos almost weekly, a few exams, and a paper. If you keep on top of the reading, make linkages with material in her power points and remain engaged- you'll be fine.

Awesome teacher; laid out exactly what you needed to understand and gave homeworks which were tedious, but necessary to do well and really comprehend the concepts
