She is v nice but talks for the entire class... I was extremely ill in the hospital and she asked for documents proving such... She also insinuated that I might fail because I missed more than 3 classes (uh, I was sick?). Anyway, she is a tough grader, way too tough. Repeats the same thing every class, be prepared to re-write your papers 20 times

Perisse is a very nice lady but she does not stay on topic. She leaves the lights off and talks about the same thing for the entire class, beware. She is a tough grader and wants everything done her way. Make sure you go to her for help before turning in your papers because if they are not done exactly how she wants, you will not get a good grade.

I took Professor Perisse for Comp I and II. She is amazing because she cares so much for her students and is very understanding. She is there for her students whenever they need her and is very helpful in office hours. I must say it may feel like its a lot of work, but with her help its much easier. Just use her as a resource and you should be fine

I went to Joan's office hours many times because I felt that she graded my essay based on her opinion. I got a C on my first essay, revised it and didn't do much better after going to her office hours for help. I continued to go to her office hours many times and ended up getting A's on my last two essays.

Seriously the nicest and most helpful professor, she is there for every student. She really understands how to be there for freshmen. There are some lengthy assignments but nothing undo able, make sure to go to her office hours. I will say she does talk a lot and class is dry but she is a great person and if you work hard you'll get a good grade.

Joan is a sweet lady. The only thing is that she talks through out the entire class period and sometimes about random topics. She asigns a lot of work and if you don't keep up it will pile up severely. She gives a lot of work for a GE comp II course.

She is such a sweet teacher. Any English class can be rough, but she's always there to answer any questions and edit any essay with you. There are two textbooks for the class but they're really not used as the semester goes on. I would definitely choose her for your Composition teacher.

Perisse is so helpful. You will want this teacher as a freshman because she understands that freshman are not used to college yet. Perisse really does take the time to be there for EVERY STUDENT, no matter how they are doing in the class. She grades fairly and she always gives you the opportunity to bring up grades by revising it! You'll love her!

Professor Perisse is amazing!! Se is an amazing person and an amazing teacher. She is sooo helpful and lets every essay be revised an unlimited amount of times; tell me that is not awesome! She has so many different hours where you can reach out and get her help! I absolutely loved her and plan to take more classes with her in the future!

Prof. Perisse is one of the best professors I've had. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate.She really wants her students to do well and is so helpful. Some teachers are dry, but Perisse makes writing fun by varying the styles of writing that we get to experiment with. Go to her office hours if you need help, and you should do very well.

She's a very helpful teacher - i was sick and absent for 3 days in a row and she collaborated with me when i was back and said she "did not want me to fall behind." I found it nice to know she did not want me to fail. However, she is a very tough on format and with the amount of work she gives it can become very annoying.

Sweet woman who is always available to help you with your assignments. She's reasonable, and if you're nice to her she'll be nice to you. She really makes you deserve the credits you receive without being unreasonable. Loved the class!
