Joan is the best!! She is kind...caring...understanding...very helpful. I would take her again if I needed more math. She has a way of explaining math so you understand it. She gives points for homework that was collected weekly...nothing overwhelming. There were 3 tests & a final exam. Take her...you definitely won't regret it...she knows math.

Mrs. Roksiewicz is a great teacher, who is understanding and wants each student to get math. The problem is that some people (me) must have extra help outside the classroom, and the MATH LAB is no help. I strongly recommend that people get a PRIVATE tutor to help outside of class for the best results.

This was my second attempt at this class. The teacher makes ALL the difference! Wow! Points for Homework and Attendance/Participation. Very nice! Came in extra day to work with students before test that wanted it. Awesome teacher!

Mrs. Roksiewicz is a great math teacher. She breaks it down so that you're able to understand, but if at any time your unclear, stop her & ask questions, she's more than willing to help. I find her to be understanding and very patient. She definitely knows her stuff, I wish she taught 119.

This was my second time having to take 097, and I'm glad I chose her. Very helpful, understanding, and nice. There were a few extra credit opportunities and h.w. was only collected on test days. I liked the way she had the class set up and would take her again if i could!

Would recomend her for math. She was very helpful, and made sure her students all understood. Kept 1/2 hr before class open for questions over the previous assignments. Homework was not collect/graded. Would definately take her again if I could.

Such an easy class! She was very helpful and would allow people to miss and make-up missed quizes. Test each few chapters and a quiz each day, NO HOMEWORK.

Pretty decent teacher-nice and cares about students' success.But the class is very boring/repetitive.She teaches purely by showing examples.Theres a homework schedule that is not collected/graded.5 exams,13 quizzes,&there is a cumulative final.But she did offer 45 points of extra credit through out the semester and drops 3 lowest quiz scores.

She is the best math teacher I've ever had. Very understanding, thorough, and she knows her stuff. She is very patient and has a way of making the most difficult math problems so easy to solve. Make sure to do all the hw. Gives some extra credit in class and on tests. Tests are decent

I would recommend her to everyone! If she taught any other math classes that I needed, I would go out of my way to take her class. She explains everything and if you don't understand she will help you out in anyway she can to clarify it. She is thee best math teacher I've ever had.

Easy class but she is very unfair. On the math problems, you can get the same answer that she does, but if you worked it out different than her, then she marks it all wrong. So if you were taught different on some of the problems, your basically screwed.

Very good instructor.....absolutely my favorite math instructor thus far, wouldn't take anyone else. Side note: she is fair but firm, don't try to be a slacker..she will put you in her place! Was very thorough about upcoming tests.
