Comment:

She is so sweet and really wants students to do well. She taught the hardest material from each chapter in class and made it much easier to understand than the books does. Exams were relatively easy and we were allowed a cheat sheet. Was always willing to work with students after class if need be. Take her if you can!

Your grade is pretty much based on your 3 exam grades which are curved and your aloud a cheat sheet. Very nice lady but explains the material different than the book and makes test harder than they should be.

Took it online/met weekly. Nice teacher, very helpful. Made attendance mandatory for first half of semester and not mandatory for 2nd half if you had a good grade. Weekly homework/quizzes online very easy. Allowed to have a full page cheat sheet for tests. Last test was optional. Good teacher to take this class with.

Comment:

One of my favorite teachers at Stockton. This course was not very difficult but I learned a lot. She is very helpful and easy-going. No tests, just assignments here and there and a final presentation. I didn't know anything about investing prior to this course and she doesn't teach using all business terms. It's an awesome class!

Does not prepare for class. Give assignments from the text when it's apparent she hasn't read the material beforehand. Too bad, she does know what she's talking about. Unfortunately, she provides little insight. Three exams, all open book. Minimal homework and one easy research project.

Excellent teacher! She is very helpful, will answer any questions you have, and takes the time to explain things in a way you understand. I never had a business class before, and I was really happy with the way she taught. Your grade is 3 tests and hw. She let us use notes for the tests. Definitely take financial accounting with her!

Class is easy, little to no work. Chapter summary due each week, but she doesn't read it and you just get a check Plus. One decent paper at the end which she does read, but other then that nothing but boring videos. I also didn't learn much which I was kinda dissappointed about, so for the paper I was in the dark.

Very cool professor, but gives alot of homework in this class. Not a problem, just couldn't keep up. Just do the work she ask's, which isn't hard if you aren't lazy, and you'll be fine, and probably learn alot.

boring!! talks down to students, and tells inane stories constantly. will keep you in class til the end even if there's nothing left to do but chit chat about nothing. totally possible to pull an A with little to no work, but going to class is torture.

Very nice w/laid back style but tends to confuse more than clarify by addressing even loftier concepts than those presented in the very challenging text. She relies too much on her teaching tenure and experience and doesn't prepare properly for class by reviewing assigned homework prior to class.
