looking at an A but this is probably the most dull class I've ever taken. She would probably find something sex-related in every single piece of work she reads. Very useless class and she is very particular with her standards. The papers are very detailed and it has to be in correlation with her style of writing. I wouldn't take her again.

Dr.Neff is sooo friendly, enthusiastic,upbeat,funny, and entertaining that I feel very bad to say that her class is useless.She'd be the most awesome High School teacher ever,but as a college prof she's too ridiculously easy and not quite competent&strict enough.However,I love that she's totally opinionated(sex!violence!sadism!)yet always tolerant.

She is so nice and sweet. She is always willing to give extra help to the students, and lets them rewrite their papers for a better grade. She'll actually help you write your paper. She makes learning fun and interesting.

Dr. Neff's class is a lot of work, but it is a lot of fun. The readings are not difficult if you keep on top of them. You get to have a halloween party and do skits in class, but you do learn a lot. She is a must for all English majors. Also it is true that she does sexualize practically everything you read.

I love Professor Neff. Ive had her twice, the first time I didnt like her very much but then I realized how great she really is. DO NOT BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE SYLLABUS. It seems like alot but Im lazy and got straight As. Loves to hear students opinions and have fun- which is very rare

She's a decent teacher,but many on this site overrate her a bit. She's a fun teacher but her workload is immense,you'll see the first day you enter her class when she hands you this THICK packet of work you must complete by the end of the semester. Overrall, she's ok but there are other teachers who provide the same education without overdoing it.

I enjoyed this class soo much! She's great, fun, and very helpful. We do role play, observations (which is totally opinionated), and 2 papers. She is very open-minded to hear anything you have to say. Great, Great, Great! We even had a Halloween party/dress up day. Every English major should take her at least once.

I heart this class. If you do not like eroticism this class is not for you. Dr. Neff always finds sexuality in her text either through incest or through gender roles of characters. Very enjoyable class to take, some role play, 10 observations of text for the year worth 20%- based on what you think of the text *(only has to be a page long).

Dr. Neff is the coolest! I wish she didn't move so fast with the material, but we go over all this amazing writing and although I thought the class was going to be hard, I'm doing ALOT better than I expected. She's always there to help with writing, great personality, and her jewelry is outta sight!

Neff is great. She has to be one of the best professors that I've ever had. She is BRILLANT!! She makes you view the text in a way that you never would have on your own. It would be a shame if you graduate without taking one of classes.
