Jodi is one of the most intelligent artists I've ever had the pleasure to work with. In her classes you will expected to write quite a bit. It's important to understand the aesthetic of dance before you assume the role of dancer. She firmly believes this. She is a technical genius and a thorough teacher. Get ready for marathon Barre though.

Jodi's approach to teaching changed the way that I look at dance. There is more writing in her AA degree than in most schools BA or BFA degrees-- be ready to work! She definitely prepares her students for technical, academic, and performance aspects in dance.

Jodi is a fabulous teacher and person in general! She takes a genuine interest in every one of her students. I took ballet class from her and I am by no means a ballerina and she did everything she could to make sure I succeeded. She's amazing! If you have the opportunity to take a class from her don't pass it up.

Jodi's enthusiam is contagious! It is obvious that she loves what she does, which is so important to the student's ability to absorb and execute material. I'd love to see her teach a math class or two:) (No offense intended to the math department. Math is just very difficult to me...)
