She's a wonderful professor to be teaching you German, but I would not take her again. She will point you out in front of the class, so be aware. If you don't go to class, your grade will go down severely. As long as you study for the tests and do the homework, easy 4.0. No midterm.

TAKE HER CLASS! Thank god for Frau Strobelt. This class isn't easy, you have to show up and participate but this woman WILL teach you German. She's funny, accessible and understanding. I appreciate her and her teaching style. Best foreign language instructor at EWU (especially better than Margie Andrews, but that's a whole new story in itself...)

Frau Strobelt is phenomenal. Learning a new language can be quite intimidating and she certainly tries her best. A lot of these "average" scores are probably from people that didn't put any effort into class. Strobelt makes learning German exciting and I never thought a foreign language would click to me so easily. Take her. You will not regret it

I took German for 4 years in high school, and I absolutely loved it. What I had loved for 4years was reversed by her in a single quarter. She expects too much out of students and it gets difficult to keep up through the year. Only take this course if you're minoring in it, or you have to fill a language GECR

Good Professor. As long as you do your workbook, journals, show effort, and do decent on the exams, you will be fine in this class. This is not a class that you can skate through and just hope to pass. You gotta work for it.

Frau Strobelt was my favorite professor this quarter she is super sweet and helpful! I was never bored and there wasn't much homework. Make sure to do the practice test before the actual test they are very similar and don't get behind on the workbookjournal.

It's unlikely that you will find a better German teacher. A very helpful and pleasant professor. Does not overwork her students. Make sure to not procrastinate with the Arbeitsbuch. I enjoyed her classes, but I wish she would abstain from getting involved in politics in class (typical well-meaning liberal).

She was the greatest! She always gave extra time to finish homework while she starred blankly at the class. She always told us these awesome personal stories about crazy Jersey girls and thyroid problems. It was like she was our whimsical old aunty. I really regret not being able to go on the camping trip or had the sleepover. Ask about the hobos.

I had Frau Strobelt for German 100-103. It is not an easy class, and to be honest it is a little tough. However she is fair, she always made the time to help me with any questions that I had. I don't know what some of the other people are talking about she is a good teacher, but I would not want to retake the class but it isn't that bad.

I had this professor a few years ago. She was one of the worst professors I have ever had! She does grade unfairly and has her favorites. Its so sad college students have to put up with middle school grade teaching. If your not happy with her remember you are paying her paycheck with your tuition.

She is an alright teacher, but she does grade unfairly. She expects everyone to do thier homework. At the end of last year spring quarter, she constantly advertise her class as I later found out that there are only 3 people sign up for 200 classes. Poor her!

Fr. Strobelt is sincerely interested in the success of her students. She's a very knowledgeable and reasonable teacher: if you want to learn German, you have to work for it. She expects you to do your job but is always willing to give extra help if needed. Overall, she's an excellent teacher.
