Very smart man with many years experience. If you attend all classes and ask questions if you dont understand then he will help you get the best grade possible. If your grades are important to you and you put in the work he will help you achieve your goals. If your a good student and need a job he will help you with his connections. Great guy.

Joe is a very good guy, he knows his stuff, and he is willing to help anyone unless you are disrespectful in class. He HATES when students have their cell phones out which I can understand.. Just show up, do your work, and you will get an EASY A.

he is unbelievably easy however this is actually bad. he is so easy that will learn nothing from his classes. you will not only learn nothing from his classes but as a whole rvc has nothing to offer either go to a real school if you want to learn

First of all he is dibilitatingly short. This fact is a major burden on the class as he cannot reach the projector screen. Secondly he offers no challenge to his students. it is instructors like Joe that bring Rock Valley College down to the level which it has sunk to.

If you want an easy A, he is your guy. If you want to actually learn something, you are on your own. He gives the occasional lecture in poor English and seems to be winging it. If you ask a hard question, you will be sorry you asked. His classes are a waste of time and money in my honest opinion.

terrible, he's lost several of my hoework assignments and my grade is much lower than it should be because of that, he barely speaks english and it's really hard to explain any problem you have with the work, easily one of the worst teachers ive ever had

Give him a chance; the class is challenging no matter how good or confused you are with computer talk but he really does offer help if asked. Read the book and get all the vocab down or else tests will be brutally hard. And pay attention to his directions or he'll get on you LOUD--ps don't laugh

GREAT TEACHER VERY HELPFULL, NICE AND UNDERSTANDABLE. WILL CLARIFY AND TEACH YOU GOOD. TESTS ARE SOMEWHAT HARD WITHOUT STUDYING AND SOMETIMES WITH STUDYING BECAUSE OF ALL THE VOCAB IF NOT A COMPUTER INTEREST BUT OVERALL EASY WORK AND STEADY CLASS MOST OF THE TIME.

Joe is a cool teacher. He has a lot of experience in his field, knows his stuff well. There might be a bit of a language barrier for people who aren't used to it, but i had no problem. He has a good balance of ease and responsiblity in his class. Just don't touch the computers in the classroom w/out his permission - he flips out unreasonably (?) Other than that, highly recommended.

Good teacher. Knows his stuff. Gave me a good reason to wake up so freaking early in the morning just to attend his class. His accent is perhaps the worst enemy in the classroom - understandable though. Much of class is open book. Ask him to teach you more before and after class in his office.

He is a nice guy. His teaching style is straight forward. His tests are difficult but usually open book open notes, not open neighbor. He grades fairly. He seems to really want to help the studen however he doesn't return emails.
