Professor Lesem was awesome. He is an old guy who loves what he does! As long as you participated and brought in news notes he gave you a generous bump up if you were teetering between grades. He was a great teacher, too bad this was his last semester (SummerA), I really lucked out!

About 3 times during the semester you get up and do a 1 minutes speech about a topic you reasearched or you make something up. He gives you a sticky note with your grade on it. There are no notes, no books, no quizes, no tests, nothing. Extremely easy class but I learned nothing.

I was really hoping we would actually learn about Broadcasting in this class. It turned into a Speech class where students would find a topic of interest and spend the whole semester writing about it, giving readings on what they found every few weeks. Disappointed, but it was a very easy class. This might be his last semester here though.

If you don't mind being bored to death but want an easy A - this is the class for you. No textbook and no papers - just 2 tests over lecture notes. Extra credit projects is you score bad on test. He was nice but just really a bore. If you have to have this class - he is pretty easy!

Lesem is such a cute,nice man. He really knows what he is teaching and seems enthused and passionate about his stories. There is a lot of information but if u take good notes ull be fine. I actually made my note cards during class...worked great I got an A.

Awesome guy. Can be very interesting if you pay attention. I think he's too easy on rude people who leave class early EVERY DAY! Knows his stuff. His tests might trick you up if you don't thoroughly read the question.
