I had Mangie for Gen Psych, Social Psych, and Human Growth. I passed all classes with a B or an A. I graduated high school with meh grades.. I'm not a genius. However; I found his tests to be quite easy. Have you heard of studying?? It's college people, wake up. I thought he was funny, class went by fast WHILE teaching us the material. I liked him.

So strict on his essays, got a 0 on the first one and he refused to check it after i resubmitted it. Tests are so hard its impossible for me to get anything higher than a C. I've emailed him countless times and havent gotten one email back except one where he threatened to fail me if i dont treat him with respect. Drop the class now, waste of time.

Not very thorough in lecture to prepare for his DIFFICULT tests. Doesn't even stand up to address the class, he sits in a chair with the students and drinks his Diet Coke and jokes about smoking pot.

Social Psychology. This man can't open documents correctly from blackboard, or comprehensibly speak for a full class. It's barely possible to understand him. It doesn't really matter though, because he never talks about any of the material in the book, and doesn't go over any test material in class. How is he still teaching?

His lectures usually relate with whatever you're going over, but it's not helpful for when you're studying. His tests are HARD. If you want a good grade for that class I suggest getting a different professor. All you do is take tests and write these short answer essays for him (they HAD to be a minimum of 65 each).

He has A LOT of rules...some very pointless. Doesnt like "teenagers". Can be Funny, and gets into alot of discussions which is nice, but does not make exceptions for anything, does NOT give any bonus, and His tests are ridiculous. Every other teachers classes gets A's, his classes FAIL. So if you want a good grade, DONT TAKE HIM.

dont know what you guys are talking about, i liked him. he's funny and it makes the class go a lot faster. he lets the students get involed with the class discussion and gives great examples. if you have a sense of humour take mangie-- you'll have fun
