I found her to be strictly business and intimidating, but when I had to submit a paper during her office hours at the end of the semester, I found out I misjudged her-she was friendly and eager to chat. Very knowledgable and kept an interesting class. If you're looking for a Cultural Anthro course to take, try to get her.

When I think of her class, I think that she is as good as it gets such as interesting lecture,concise,organize,video,guest's lectures, input from classmates,and class discussion. Tests are multiple choices. She is give curves and drop grades. If you can't get good grade,maybe change yourstudy habit

She's sweet,but gets upset if you r not interested or disagree with her.Tricky tests. Go up to her and explain your thinking and she'll hint the answer b/c they could go both ways usually.I wouldn't take her for a easy A but if you are working on Anthropology as your major then she might inspire u.

tests are like midterms!! 50-80 questions!! tests are very tricky even with studying very hard. ok i understand we have to be challenged but its not that serious. besides the text we had to read two other books.. harder than the usual 101 class.. i dont recommend.

She will give you good examples with her lecture notes which will help you remember stuff. she teaches good BUT her tests are very tricky; they are multiple choice but tricky and She DOES NOT curve. 101 is suppose to be easier and she makes it harder.

This class is pretty interesting, but you really need to study hard for the exams. The test are very tricky. Notes and videos are real important and borrowing doesnt help. I suggest you study and go to class, because I regret taking the class lightly.

make sure you come to class because lecture notes is all you need in class. very clear and in the end you learn alot about cultures. great and very interesting professor but sometimes she can be really unfair with the test.

very clear in her lectures.. u get deeply involved in her talkin that you don't even know when the times passes.. very helpful... multiple choice tests and are tricky, but if you study she's an easy B+ atleast.. if u work A+ is guaranteed.
