AWESOME GUY! Super cool and understanding. only homework are journals due twice a semester. all you have to do is participate, show your interested and it will be an easy A. highly suggest taking this class if your into film/acting/theatre or you just need an easy GE. If your shy he'll break you out of it. Real relaxing class to have. NO final.

Take intro to acting with Paperone. It can be fun at times. All you have to do is show up to class and write a journal, as long you want on every class experience. The first half of the journals is the midterm exam and the 2nd half of the journals is the final. You do one commercial infront of the camera and a couple small scenes. Easy A if u go!

He is a super nice old guy. He knows what he is talking about and only keeps you in class for an hour on the days you're not seeing shows in the city. All you do is write 2 page double spaced papers and theres many chances for extra credit. This class is definitely an easy A.

The good: He's a nice guy and THE 209 is pretty easy. The bad: he teaches essentially nothing. Aside from seeing the plays themselves, I gained essentially nothing from this class. I recommend THE 209 as a Gen Ed, but if you're interested in Fine Arts in general, you will find the class lacking.

I loved this class. Very easy and fun but still informative about the craft of acting. Joe is so nice and funny and keeps the energy level up. It's a good class whether you have had previous theatrical training or not.

I wish this man were my grandpa! He's so nice, so funny, & the class itself is so great anyway! Attendance mandatory, but only meets once a week, and you get half the weeks off anyway to see shows (which is nice, but i wouldn't mind being there just to chat w/ Joe and my classmates)

Joe is amazing! There is never a dull moment in his Intro To Acting class. From the acting games to the work out scenes, its totally awesome. He is also very sweet and extremely funny. Im going to take Live Theatre Experience with him!

Joe's a great person. You can talk to him about anything, he will listen and give you advice. He's very funny and makes class very entertaining. However, i think this class is worthless. Much better is Intro to Theatre with Stephen, because he teaches the same content and more, and better. Sadly, Joe isn't as good a professor as he is a person.

Joe is great, and makes class like that too. He is likeyour grandpa, funny, and really caring about people. It is hard not to love Joe. He is alittle unclear about tests sometimes, but always willing to meet with students who have questions or just chat as a friend. An asset to the theatre department!

Joe Pap's Theatre History class was kind of boring... BUT IT WAS THEATRE HISTORY! This guy is awesome and will help you in every way he can. He's been around a while and has been in movies, etc... probably my favorite Theatre professor @ NP.
