YOU WILL NOT DO WELL ON EXAMS WITHOUT KNOWING THE SAMPLE PROBLEMS, POSTED ONLINE Lectures are much easier than the sample problems posted online, which is how exams are structured. Know them well or else. Group projects are straight forward and a great opportunity to bring your grade-up. Lectures are interesting with lots of humor.

Comment:

Definitely consider how comfortable you are at teaching yourself the material. Youll mostly end up discussing stock markets and very few vague aspects about the topics at hand and youre expected to churn out complex problems swiftly. If tutoring is an option, utilize it because you dont really learn much in the course itself.

Good professor, one of the better ones at UST. At first, his accent is difficult to understand, but after a few sessions it's fine. His exams are very difficult. Follow his in class examples, blackboard problems, and problems in the book and you should be okay. Make your cheat sheet VERY detailed, exams are all over the place. Recycles exams.

He messes around a lot and wastes so much time. When he actually teaches, it's helpful, but he always tries to make jokes that suck. Also, if you hope for him to email you, keep waiting. He knows his stuff, but tries to be too cool to be a good teacher

He is the best teacher at UST. Very funny, keeps the class energetic. Teaches very well and is very clear. He is open to help any student with troubles and spends a lot of his free time at his office helping students. take his class, you wont regret it.

He makes the class very interesting. He's smart, easy going, friendly, and very helpful. The class was awesome. I learned alot from him. His test to me weren't hard at all. I made a 100 in his test so it is possible to have a perfect score in his tests.

Dr. Ueng is an excellent professor. Very smart man, and he is very clear. He also has a good sense of humor and a big soft spot (for pushing back "pop" quizzes)...he is easily persuaded by the class. Fair professor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
