Any prof who proclaims "Free love in the bedroom should reign. Have as many partners are ud like" during a politics lecture is cool. However, he went offtopic like this often and i found it confusing.

Had good intentions and amusing insights, but a lack of interest in the students led to him being distracted (and rightly so). Relevant lecture material was exactly the same as the projector notes which left for little personal inferance.

Enthusiastic but all over the place. Can't seem to stay on track. Noise from the crowd, off topic questions or the quest to make a high wire, dramatic point about some irrelevant issue all are enough to throw things off the tracks for long periods of time.

He defines the "absent-minded" professor perfectly. Guy cracked me up, and indeed I started laughing many times from the back of the class. One reason why I would never sit in the front. Good man.

I personally think most politics students are too egotistical, and they think they know everything -- even more than the profs. Which btw, is not true. I actually find Wearing to be very intelligent, and though a bit quirky, very kind and interesting. Even though he can be a slow talker.

Wow. Odd, odd man. Says that he hates conspiracy theories, but loves to peddle them in class. Seems like a nice guy from the back (of the class), seems grumpy up close.

Goes off on tangents, does not go into depth from lecture notes. Relies on them heavily (if you print them out theres no need to attend class and be bored) He does have the occasional humourous comment, however he does get easily distracted by student reactions, and acts of boredom.

Awful Professor. HEAVY left wing bias. Does not go five minutes with some irrelevant Anti-American/anti-Bush refrence. Should teach a course on why he hates Bush/America rather than comparative democracy. Can be easily led onto a tangent by student questions. A strange man, even for a professor. :-|

I found Wearing to be extremely boring and it was difficult to follow his lectures. His notes were so long that it was often hard to supplement them with what he said in lecture. A really nice guy, but not a good prof overall.

He's a funny guy but a lot of times I was hoping for Simeon to lecture instead..he's not the most articulate person which made class pass by really slow sometimes..but he has a good personality which made class a bit more lively.
