Took this course for an online class, ENG2110. The two research projects I struggled with. The tests and quizzes were not too bad as long as you read and studied hard. Study guides were given which really helped. 4 exams, 2 of which were proctored on site. Would email back fairly quickly, as long as it was not a dumb question.

I took his class online, and liked it a lot. Yes, there is a LOT of reading. But as long as you do the work, you'll be fine. He gives good feedback and is pretty prompt about answering questions. Would highly recommend him!

It is easy to get an A in this class if you put in the effort and do the reading (THERE IS A TON OF READING). However, if you want a professor that will respond to your emails or give feedback on essays, Joel Henderson is NOT the man for you. Also, he assigned a lot of homework over spring break, and I didn't have internet and everything is online!

I took Prof. Henderson in a dual course credit. He is a enjoyable teacher and you will always know exactly what will be on his tests. Lit will always be full of reading so dont let that be the factor that makes you turn from Dr. Henderson. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the subject he teaches. Ex Credit and study guides are to be expected.

I took his class online thinking it was going to be the hardest class so far, but i was wrong. There is alot of quizzes in the class and big midterms and finals. MAKE SURE YOU STUDY! He gives a study guide and make sure you study a week or so before the big test! Very nice teacher and will help on anything!!!

I took this class online and found it very tough. It will be the only class I dont get an A in, and Ill probably have a C. He is very clear with instructions, but you must follow them clearly. There were only 2 tests each having 200 questions. We did not use the textbook, all reading is online and links are given. I would not recommend this class

Great Teacher!!! Kept the class interesting. You will definitely read and learn, but you will also enjoy it. I love this teacher. Go to the Writing lab to proof your research paper before you submit, he will take off for heavy grammatical errors. Other than that I would recommend this teacher to anyone.

Interesting man...class was always entertaining though. Very knowledgeable & helpful when asked. If you don't appreciate sarcasm, this isn't the class for you. Tests are difficult, but if you pay attention in class (and actually read the material) you'll be fine. Oh, and he trys to scare away students near the beginning of the semester. :)
