you'll hate kaplan the first time he calls on you, but you'll learn to defend your opinion with fact. i've never been so motivated to prove myself in class or to learn material. it's hard, but it's well worth the agony. side note: kaplan dressed up as mr. incredible on halloween. the man is a hard ass, but he has a sense of humor.

One of the best, most challenging, professors I've ever had. The Socratic style he utilizes keeps everyone on their toes, making for a lively classroom, full of open debate about current legal issues facing journalists. Great professor.

Kaplan is obviously a very intelligent man, but very mean-spirited. I always participate in classes, but did not enjoy his style of "cold calling" on students to answer things. He also did not make the material clear for non-law students.
