He's really nice, and he really is very interested in the subject he teaches. The only problems are that he goes really fast while giving notes in class and the tests are fairly difficult. Otherwise, he's great, I was very pleased and have already recommended him to friends.

If you are taking a class in his specialty marine science he is one of the best teachers you can find. However with that said i would not recommend to anyone outside the marine science academic area since he does not dwell on intro material.

It's obviously he cares about this course about as much as the students (which is... not at all). Pop quizzes are stupid; he does them to inflict pain, especially on the first day after Spring Break. He is not clear about what he wants on his exams. I wish I had taken this one with Brooks.

JT is an awesome professor, very clear, and straightforward. It's fun to hear him say oozes cuz he really draws out that "oo." Very accomplished in all of marine science fields, and he knows what he's talking about.
