An incredibly kind and patient woman, and decent class discussions, but we didn't follow the syllabus. As a result, due dates for some things were very difficult to figure out and it was a bit frustrating to find out that a 5 paragraph writing assignment is due the next day - thankfully, the writing assignments are not difficult at all.

Dr. Fisher is a nice professor whose GER103 class was super easy. As long as you show up and do the HW you get an A. Her teaching style is not amazing for German, as she assigns homework that we didn't even talk or know about.

Super sweet woman! If you show up without the book, don't participate, and don't do the minimal homework... you'll still walk away with an A-. If you show up and do the minimum, you're sure to get an A!

Johanna Fisher is an angel. She makes the course very interesting (Nazis in Contemporary Fiction is the class btw). Also, it is very easy you barely have to read the books- just speak in class and do the assignments. Very lowkey for a capstone and she is very understanding about late papers and is altogether compassionate and kind.

The most amazing woman I have ever encountered. Super genuine and cares about your well being, not even just your grades. You would be a straight fool to miss the opportunity to take a class with her.

She did not have an attendance policy, she's very willing to help meet with any paper or project. Not a crazy amount of reading, lots of time to accomplish papers and no exams. One final paper during exam week she gives out almost a month in advance. Very easy going, and a pleasure to be a student in her class. Not hard to get a good grade.

Fischer lectures for a while and as long as your participate once and look like your listening, you're bound to get at least a B. Good luck on group projects though, they're worth a lot to her.

Basically we just sit around and talk about our feelings toward certain things, you must have a very feminist view in order to get credit. Waste of time. Much group work which is for middler schoolers not for college students. She is too old to be working here.

I took Professor Fisher for her Women in the City introductory English class. She is very sweet. The content of the class is not very difficult. She let's you out early occasionally and only a few papers are required. The final exam is a take home paper. Take this class and you won't be disappointed.

Dosn't know how to teach very well. Can't use the technology in the classrooms without taking up the entire cass period attempting to play one vhs. Lacks perspective whenever world events are brought up. needs to learn that intro engish is mandatory not an elective. Has a chip on her shoulder in regards to men. Avoid her if you have a choice.

Has a very narrow minded view of the world. Needs to learn to keep her left winged political views to herself. Teachers should teach you the subject at hand not indoctrinate you with their beliefs. extremely knit picky on the grading of papers. Take her only as a last resort since she is one of the worst teachers a student could have.

Should consider retireing, is out of touch with the real world. If you love poetry this is the class for you, if not stay away. She is a feminist, so men stay far away and don't say nobody warned you. Otherwise pretty bad teacher all around.

Really nice lady. The work in the class is easy but she likes class participation. The readings are pretty interesting, but even if you forget to read most of it is on sparknotes. Reccommend

This class was REDICULOUS. Mandatory service learning, acting out Shakespeare, writing skits which feels like you are in 5th grade again. Waits until the last minute to make the assignment clear. The only good thing I can say is that she helps with papers. Make sure you participate or she will hate your class.

This class was a disappointment. I would have done better just to buy the texts and read them on my own. WAY too much on mysticism; too much of her personal opinions; and generally too boring. If you like group work, though, you're in luck. A little too nitpicky with the grading...

Before taking the class I was interested, but now I am not interested in it at all. She is very disorganized and all she talks abouts is Mysticism. This class is not what I expected. I elect Direnfield to teach this class at least I will get something out of it. She should continue teaching english since that appears to be her area of expertise
