If you use the study guides he gives you and do the reading (it's not much), this is an easy A. Just be sure to study a little. Rambles a lot in lectures, but covers some stuff not in the book, so I'd recommend attending. Exams are 50 multiple choice questions (on examples of concepts), and that's most of your grade. Gives some extra credit too.

This class is for 3rd graders. I went to about 7 classes - and three of those were pointless. His lectures aren't mandatory, and so spazzy that you're better off in bed. Makes the 9 required Science credits a little less painful

Probably the easiest science class you can take at Xavier. Requires almost no work outside of class (simply study the night before an exam). Barrett is a really nice guy and seems to want to make the class easy for his students. He is energetic and makes the class as fun as he possibly can. Would definitely recommend this class if Barrett teaches.

Non-majors can appreciate a class like this. Doesn't require too much work and there are only a few homework assignments and a few tests. Barrett doesn't have an attendance policy, but if you go to class if will help you out on the tests. Class can often times get boring, but I think that has to do with your personal interest. Would recommend.

Very easy class....uses all powerpoints for lectures, but also uses many movie clips and examples to make it interesting. Was always let out early, and not much homework. The only homework we had was 20 questions, which had the answers included with us.
