He is so smart and pretty funny. Corny but funny. He rambles a little bit, but it's still very intersesting to hear what he has to say. Overall I enjoyed his class and have nothing really negative to say about John.

i enjoyed his lectures but he sucks at explaining to you what he wants you to do with the papers. he's full of knoelwdge. but if i knew what i do now, i NEVER WOULD HAVE SIGNED UP FOR HIS CLASS. waste of money.

You don't learn much in this class, but if you're just looking to get through ENG102, this is the guy to take. Just follow his format exactly, don't try to be creative. Unlimited rewrites so just change what he tells you to and it's an easy A.

This is the worst professor ever, you learn nothing and all you get to do is write a stupid 2nd grade level paper in his format if you don't you will fail. Unless your a hot chick he obviously has a thing for them, this class as easy as its supposed to be is just a headache and a pain the a$$. Take anyone else SERIOUSLY!!

This class was really easy if it could hold your attention, which it doesn't. You can rewrite as much as you want which is nice. But just sitting in his class made me want to pull my hair out. He is also really wierd looking. Just be prepared to no the origins of random words that will never help you!

Nice guy, get ready to hear about the movie JAWS a bunch. Two words. Unlimited rewrites. I actually waited til like the last week to turn in about 3 seperate 2nd rewrites and got a B, lol. As long as you write in his format, you will get a good grade. I will probably use this format forever, it's real easy and adds structure to your paper.

This professor was ok. He did give unlimited rewrites. I liked them because if you forgot to turn it in you still got more chances. He let us turn old ones in until last couple weeks of class. He is a hard grader though. so you will turn things in more then once. In the end he is an easy teacher and class

This guy is the worst english teachers I have ever had. If you dont follow his format exactly he counts you off a letter grade and if you add any creativity to your intro or conclusion he tells you to cut it out and marks you down. I dont think anyone's writing has improved from this class, its just tedious and frusterating

He was overall a nice teacher...lots of rewrites...but mostly you do not need to do them as long as you just follow his format to write the paper. his format is almost always the same for every paper so it is not that hard..he never used his textbook and he always told us to meet him at random coffee shops to turn things in..weird..but good classs!

(PROS)- animated lectures, unlimited rewrites, impossible to get lower than B unless u really dont pass the essays due. (CONS) - he doesn't use the +/- system, so its a waste not being to get an A+ from such an easy class, your writing will definitely not improve with this guy

This guy is one of the worst teachers i've ever had. You get unlimited rewrites but your grade will never go up to an A. He has his own format that you must follow, if you don't follow it then you will fail. You will have no idea what your grade is, he will just say about an A and so forth. His class wont help you become a better writer in college.

he is a nice guy but i wasted my money..never opened the book..he always finds a way to break down every single word and tell you what it means, where it came from and all kinds of crazy things..very easy but crazy class. We all looked at each other every day like what the heck?

good guy...but very annoying format to follow and strange tests... you will get an a if you try but i didn't like not being able to format my essays the way i liked them. but on the positive side he is a funny guy and easy to approach and you usually get to leave class early.

His class is extremely easy but a total waste of my money. If you do everything exactly like he says, you'll get an A. The only problem with that is his method of writing is completely elementary and it doesn't teach you to write in college. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

Not a hard class by any means. The only issue I had was that anytime we had to redo a paper, he would find different errors with each submission. Easy class, contradicting answers.
