Impossible to follow anything he says. His quizzes and lectures are ridiculously scattered. Do not take him at all costs, even though you'll probably receive a decent grade if you show up. Very frustrating.

This class is ridiculous. It is basically a repeat of ChemII. No one learned anything in this class. The professor is scattered. He lost five of everyone's quiz grades and made no attempt to get them back. The quizzes are super easy, but the ACS final will sink your grade fast. No tests in this class. Attendance is not required. Not recommended.

To this day i HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT CLASS WAS EVEN ABOUT. Dr. bowen is really nice but you don't really learn anything in the class other than the fact that studying analytical chemistry is the number one cause for suicide

Dr Bowen is a very cool prof. The class sucks. The labs suck, but he really does care about his students and will help you if you ask. There are 6 labs(DETAILED reports), a proposal, and final lab. You have a quiz every friday and the final is comphensive. He can get a lil scattered and his grading scale is crazy, but we all have to go through it.

He was extremely patient and very willing to help. All you have to do is ask and he'll sit down with you and explain it! Amazing teacher. Very funny too!

The only problem with this class is that it was at 8am. Very nice and helpful prof. He will also answer your emails and if you need help while at home he will help you on-line. His class is definitely a good experience.
