Buck is a great professor; he is good at explaining material and will go beyond for his students to understand the class; including making videos and having great office hours. Lots of work: DAILY reading quizzes and DAILY class problems, both of which are graded on top of large amounts of homework. Tests are medium difficulty. Good professor.

Best damn professor of my life. Cares a lot about his teaching and his students. He graduated from MIT, he teaches like a MIT professor. He makes his own youtube videos, if there is something you are stuck on just email him, very quick. Homeworks are mandatory or you will be lost forever. Best part is retake exams! I turned a 69 to a 95 crazy.

Best professor you will ever have. He is very dedicated to his work. He cares a lot about his students. He gives us youtube videos in his spare time and even gives review sessions for exams on holidays. Class was basically reading quizzes in the morning, group class problems, 3 matlab projects, 3 exams, and a final.

Had professor Buck for 322 and 574. He is by far the best professor at the University. His classes are tough but if you do the homework and go to office hours no only will you do really well, but you'll find you learned more in one semester than you have in awhile.
