Daly is hilarious, and at the same time a phenomenal lecturer - he doesn't sugarcoat history and presents all sides of what happened. I'm graduating soon in something other than History and a professor of his quality really makes me wish I had taken more classes with him.

Amazing professor. Easy class you only have to write 3-4 essays. He gives you the outline for the mid-term and finale. Hilarious lectures that make class fun to attend. He allows you to email your rough draft papers to him, which he will give you feedback within a day to help make the paper an A. Take the class.

Teaches you REAL history. The good and the bad. Very motivational teacher. Class is super hard to fail. Honestly, if you write how you feel about a certain topic in history and really know how to argue your point you'll get really high grades on your papers and test essays. Plus this guy is freaking hilarious and makes his lectures fun

He gives you either 3 or 4 papers throughout the term. There are at least 6 prompts per paper. If you do not do citations in your paper, he will fail you. I did MLA for the first 2 and he made us do Chicago Style for the last one. I didn't do the citations right for the last one and it cost me an A on the paper so learn it ahead of time.

Daly's class is so easy and he is hilarious. He includes humor in his lectures and the class goes by super quickly. Some people may fall asleep in his class but it is history. He gives about 3 essay and literally gives you the prompt of the essays that you will write on the test along with "sample" (exact same) questions on the test.

John was one of my favorite professors. He is very intelligent but also very humorous. He gives great feedback on papers and tests and understands that you have other classes and most likely are in his class for Gen Ed. Would highly recommend for freshman who want to ease into college classes. Not an easy A but pretty straightforward.
