I have taken SEVERAL classes with Dr. Diviney and if it wasn't for him, I would not have graduated on time. His lectures are dry, but he is interested in helping his students. He is very flexible and as long as you are honest, he will help you get anywhere. HIs tests are easy as long as you follow the study guides.

Probably the most caring professor I have ever had. He is always willing to work with students to meet their needs, making special arrangements to ensure they got the most out of his classes or out of their time at Flagler. His courses are primarily lecture, and a little dry, but he will always do what is best for the student.

Class can be a bit dry and his lectures a tad confusing, but he is by far the nicest person I have ever met. After doing poorly on my first test I went to see him with the study guide for all the others and he with me for two hours and wrote all over it everything I needed to know. Got all A's and B's after doing that. Great guy. :)

It's been awhile since I was in college, but I remember Dr D fondly. He was often off topic, but funny and passionate. I learned a lot from him, and got a teaching job at FSU thanks to him, but what I learned usually involved his career in Special Forces or trips to Brazil rather than the class material. Cool, laid back prof.

I LOVE DR. DIVINEY! He is my adviser and I have taken ever LAS class he has offered. His laid back approach to teaching is more helpful than any teacher who believes their class is the only one in existence. If you have a genuine interest in the subject matter and take the time to talk to him this class should be a breeze. Sweetest teacher award.

I took Intro to S. America because it was required for my political science major and I hated this class. I was never interested in the subject and Dr. Diviney didn't help any. He's a really nice guy! But he is monotone during his lectures. All I ever did was totally zone out and leave class never hearing a thing. I'm glad it's over and done with.
