This class is easy *if* you put in the work. If you show up, read the book, and pay attention you'll do great. If you don't put in the effort asked of you in the syllabus, yea, you'll do poorly. He does throw a couple "outta left field" questions at you on quizzes. But he is helpful to a fault and will work with you to get you through the class.

Disliked the tests - multiple choice w/answers that weren't totally clear (had to guess between 2). Definitely attend class or you're gonna have a bad time. He gave extra credit and an optional final (grade-saver). I love how he seems to love what he's teaching. I didn't so much like this class, but it's in the anthro major so I had to take it. Eh

The tests are tricky in intro to archaeology, but they are multiple choice with review sessions and study guides. During lecture,, take notes on key people/ places because they are hard to find in the book and PP slides.

Not too bad a class-- best taken prior to lithics. Forgiving grader, getting an A is totally doable, as long as you work hard (no need to fear upper division writing requirement either)
