His lectures are straight to the point. The tests were based off the hw. Show up, listen and youll get atleast a B. He cares about the students and is eager to help. Attendence is part of the grade and the class is made up of 2 tests. Labs were easy but didnt teach much. Would 100% take him again.

Emmert is a really good teacher and a nice person. He has lots of experience in the field, and that shows itself on his lectures. He ties concepts on class to their "real world" counterparts. Really smart and knowledgeable.

He's an average teacher. Doesn't go over too many examples, but the material is so easy that it doesn't matter. Unfortunately he gives almost all the code for the labs so there is not much to learn there. All I heard was that this class was amazing and he's great, but I was not impressed. Tests are simple just pay attention and do the group work

Everything you want out of a professor. Brilliant, reliable, makes the material easy to understand, and clear grading criteria. I don't think I know a student who doesn't like Dr. Emmert.

Dr. Emmert is a great professor. Makes the material understandable and his notes are very clear. 10/10 would take any of Dr. Emmert's classes. He throws in quirky jokes that makes lecture enjoyable, and the material isn't very "dry", so it's easy to get involved in lecture.

Very project oriented. Gives a lot of partial credit. If you think he is bad, maybe you are in the wrong major? Very helpful and provides a lot of "real world" explanations. Makes you work for your grade, however, very lenient.

Class was not difficult, but not easy. His lectures were adequate, and he does try very hard. Not the best professor, but not the worst. If your self-motivated, take him. If you learn from lectures, don't.
