BEST TEACHER THAT I HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF HAVING AT SACRED HEART. If you have the chance to take him, 100% do it! He is such a sweet old man (reminded me of my grandpa lol) and really listens to his students on what works/doesn't work for them. He is such a good guy and goes out of his way to help you when you need it. 100% RECOMMEND.

I am writing this in my first class ever with this professor. He makes little sense and goes off and many tangents. We just spent about an hour talking about something that didn't even relate to the chapter. He also forgot about our class twice. So yea. Otherwise he's a nice man.

I do not know anything about chemistry after taking this class. He is an extremely nice man but doesn't know how to teach, he goes off on tangents in lectures about things that don't matter. Also, the last question on the last quiz is: "What grade do you think you deserve?" and you receive that grade no matter what your actual grades were.

Great guy, very smart. Sit in the first row on the first day, get to know him. Volunteer as much as possible, and go to his office hours whenever you can. He wants students to get A's. If you are confused about something ask.

Flemming is nice and really likes chem but if you actually want to learn anything do not take him. He'll give you a good grade if you participate and go to his office hours. Lectures are very boring but you just have to get through it.

Flemming is a pretty bad teacher, He barely teaches in lecture and if you don't sit in the first two rows you might as well not even be in the class. If you don't read the chapter previous to class you WILL be lost, he also springs surprise pop quizzes occasionally.

Hes a horrible professor if you actually want to learn something. I get to class and fall asleep because no one even knows what he's talking about most of the time. He's unorganized, never has a lesson planned. He just tells us to read the chapter on our own time and then next class he'll ask us if we have any questions. Ridiculous.

His lectures never made any sense and I felt like the chapters in the text didn't correspond with what he was "teaching". I never paid attention in this class, nor did I study for his tests, but I still got a good grade in his class. Make it look like you're trying and you'll do well. He's a bit of a pushover.

Prof. Flemming is so boring!! He just rambles on and on and no one ever knows what he's talking about. However, he is an easy A because he asks you what grade you want, and all of his tests and quizzes are online. If you're looking for an easy professor for a difficult class, take him.

Lectures are very hard to follow, and don't seem to go along with any sort of lesson plan. Super sweet guy. Passes around a sign in sheet so you don't have to go to class everyday. All tests and quizzes are online, pretty much gives you the grade you want.

Flemming is the worst professor I've EVER had. He doesn't answer your questions because he just goes on a ramble about something completely unrelated. He says that "you could have a 50 in his class, but he still might give you an A or B if he thinks you understand the material." I'm a straight A student but I cannot follow this class. AVOID HIM!

Taking OrgoBioChem with him was tough. He doesn't really have a specific teaching style in class, other than to tell you some specifics and then tell us some random facts. He is not a bad teacher, but you really have to be willing to work and ask for help. You HAVE to read the textbook and teach yourself the material some.

Flemming is one of the hardest professors I've ever had. HE doesn't teach the material and even if you read the book in and out and do all of the problems you will fail his tests. He tries to help but always circles around the question with a completely unrelated story. DO NOT TAKE him if you can AVOID him. Nice guy, bad professor.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Doesn't know how to teach the material. Likes to ramble and write unorganized notes all over his board. He doesn't teach material on the test and expects you to teach yourself. He usually does not know how to answer questions so he goes off on a tangent. Recommend taking another course with a different teacher.
