I've had many ESL and English teachers in colleges, but she was the one who made me pass the CAT-W in just a semester. Writing assignments and her feedback improved my writing level. Got an A in her class, got an A in ENG 101 after her class.

Prof Garretson is really hard professor. If you have her expect to read, and write a lot of essays. But at the end you will feel that you gained a lot of knowledge from her class. She a is must have prof for the ESL students because after her class you will be ready to do all the college essays.

Kate Garretson - because of her I improved my writing skills. Yes, she's a strict professor. All the grades that I received were properly convicted! I got a B+ it was pretty hard, but then u will be able to see the skills that u gained. (In her class u will face with: LOts of essays, reading materials, grammar exercises,etc)

very helpful professor. at the middle of this semester I was depressed because of my essays. Those essays had lot of mistakes and I never made her happy!!But, after that, she helped me a looottt. she always works for a student not for own. whatever she does in her class those things help us for next. she is a excellent professor.
