Don't call him Professor...its Foxy. I don't know where the negative comments come from on this because as he says "Foxy takes care of you". I missed a class and he called me to make sure I had all the material for the upcoming exam. You'll learn a lot in this class, as long as you show up and do your work. The exams were easy too.

Don't miss class, do the work and pay attention at the beginning of class. His first words are likely to be on the quiz. May come off as being self centered or arrogant but Foxy will and does take care of you. Some parts of the final are difficult all in Spanish. Instead of an apple bring him some Mt. Dew, won't help your grade though.

I'm an adult student too, and there is no need of this arrogant ass promoting himself and how wonderful he wants to present himself as. There is no need for the bullying tactics, the yelling at students in class. He will teach you the language. His presentation and personality need a great deal of work. No need to be so pompous.

I hate seeing these negative comments. I'm an adult student who took Fox's class. I never learned so much as I did with him. He knows his stuff, I'm paying for the class, and for once, I got what I paid for! Thanks Fox. Grow up everyone - get past his "bullying" techniques and get ready to learn. You might have a boss like him someday!

Good for those who don't mind work, bad for those who expect an easy class. Wish I had him for 101, he was much clearer than the prof I had for 101. Policies are a bit extreme but with the amount of work their understandable. Don't take him if you are just looking to get by.

I think Foxy wrote the "dealt with alot of imaturity in the summer class". This class was full of ADULTS who were treated like high school kids! No need to bring a note from the DR if you have the flu! The students are paying HIS salary if we choose to miss a class it shouldn't affect him at all! I did agree with the late rule.He's very tough!

He dealt with alot of imaturity in the summer class. Very smart, gives you what you need and lets you know what you need to know for tests (and final). Stick with your commitment to the class and do the assigned work (after all you paid for the course)you'll be fine in the end. He treats us as we should be: adults responsable for our own success

He's an experience, that's for sure. Arrogant, demanding, and sometimes abrasive. His policies re: attendance, lateness are strict, but if you have legitimate reasons he usually is leanient. He does put the responsibility on the students to adhere to the policies. But, he knows his stuff well. And he expects his stduents to know it as well.

His policies are ridiculous-stating things like "If your'e going to be late for class don't bother coming" and "No absences are allowed without written documentation of an excuse". Give me a break! Fox IS Farva from Supertroopers. I found his mannerisms distracting and the class very very dull. The handouts were helpful. Work-load was a bit more than average. Tests were reasonable. Policies were uptight and strict like him. Two words for Foxy: LET GO.
