hes a really nice old man but when it comes to teaching he didnt really help. for math im the type to work out everything but he mostly reads from a powerpoint he will help and extend work i u ask but overall he was hard to ounderstand and i was left to figure it out myself

Comment:

Professor Fratto is by far my favorite math professor. I am really good at math and he explained it clearly but did not take too much time on each topic. He really teaches you everything you need to know including how to use your calculator, and gives great reviews that are almost the same as the test.

Honestly, this teacher just sits and explains the topics covered in class. But he doesn't really go in depth or detail of the topics so it gets really confusing. You basically have to fend for yourself to get a good grade. If you slack off and is lazy to put in effort yourself, you will die. I don't recommend this class at all.

Mr. Fratto isn't the best teacher but he gives good reviews and hints on the test. You should take him because he really does try his best to help everyone pass. I would take him again.

Comment:

The 1-hour format of this class was hard for everyone to adjust to at first, but we got into a good rhythm by the middle of the semester. He's very good with the calculator, and taught us an ingenious method of finding the nth term of a polynomial. He's very good at showing you how to apply Mathematical principles.

the only way to fail the class is if you don't put in the effort. Professor Fratto is not the best teacher but he is very helpful and understanding. Additionally, his tests are super easy and he gives you reviews that are exactly like his test. I recommend taking him. if you are struggling, seek help from him and he will private tutor you!

I loved Professor Fratto as a person he's a sweet man. He has a good heart but he's not the best professor. He teaches straight off of the PowerPoint and if you're confused he doesn't really explain well. I made a solid B in the class and I'm not the greatest at math. This class is very easy to pass.

From the 1st day of class to the end.. he assumes you already know everything he's teaching and works through his power points. Very nice but not too helpful. I wouldnt recommend him if your there to learn only if you already know your stuff and need a class to sit through.

In this class you are responsible for your learning like any other. All the homework is online and if you don't understand a problem there will be a similar problem but with different numbers but the same concept. Throughout the semester there will be only 3 test and then the final and also the homework that's it.

The first day of class was the most informational. He was late by 5 to 10 minutes everyday. Taught from his laptop on powerpoint which he hardly explained. You have to teach yourself almost everything. A bonus was that all the tests were multiple choice, Homework was due at end of semester instead of weekly, and we had no pop quiz, so a free 10%.

horrible horrible calculus teacher. lectures are 100% useless. teaches from a laptop, talks to the laptop, not student. no examples on board. does not walk you thru anything. sometimes he doesnt know answer to your question. he really just says I DONT KNOW. i passed with C. only because i did all hw, which i taught myself. no exaggeration. AVOID!!
