Comment:
Professor Frazier is a decent professor, often skips around in lectures and can be extremely confusing. Most of the time he doesn't finish the chapter and often moves on to the next chapter. I went to office hours once to ask about the test question but he was extremely rude. Wouldn't recommend taking since it is a lot of work.

He could be arrogant at times but he knows what he's talking about. While going to class isn't mandatory, going to lab is but I suggest going to both if you want to do well. His slides aren't very good and he doesn't post them so you need to write down everything he says. I didn't think his tests were too hard and the quizzes are open notes.

On the first day he literally said, "I can't see doing all the work and not getting an A". He was right. Open note quizzes most weeks on places or chapter readings so GET THE TEXTBOOK! Quiz Q's repeat on exams. Anyone who thinks this class is a lot of work clearly has not taken a chemistry/other difficult class. Go to class and you pass! Solid guy.

Great teacher, you can tell he really knows the material. However this class is more work than its worth. The labs, while easy, are extensive and are only worth like 15% of your grade. Exams are kinda tough but fair. Expect to have a quiz or 2 every week but don't fret too much, as they aren't worth very much compared to the midterm/final

Such a sweet guy. He has a rough exterior but shows his sweet side more and more as class goes on. Really interesting class!!! Work is heavy but easy and there's no excuse to do bad! Study hard for the midterm and final and you'll be fine. Those are the only tests in class!

He wants you to do well. The tests are based on the lecture notes, going to class helps. Don't need to read the textbook. There is lab for the class which is based on a workbook. Its just worksheets, there is a sign in sheet for that. Some of the questions are specific & tricky on tests. Also some videos you watch in class and write a reflection.

He's the man, one of the most respected geographers in America. If you had the honor of taking a class with him you should appreciate it. If you are a freshman and not in geography it will be hard to appreciate but once you are in the department you will. He will call you out if you are not doing things right but it's for the best. Best advisor!!

Attendance is not mandatory, but his lectures are extremely helpful when it comes to taking quizzes/exams. You can do well just by reading the textbook/watching the videos. The videos are extremely important. The Professor is a fair grader, although most (if not all) of the gradings are graded by TAs. WARNING: he will call you out in class.

Frazier is super nice during office hours, but his exams are tough. The lectures are sometimes interesting and the weekly open note quizzes are easy if you completed the review sheet before hand. I and many other students find the exams to be unnecessarily difficult. I do not recommend taking this class with Frazier unless you need to.

10/10, very understanding professor, willing to help you out. Even if he seems harsh on lecture, I promise he's nice as hell of office hours. Pay some attention, take notes, take your A/-A.

Frazier knows his stuff. This was surprisingly my most interesting class of the semester. If you put in the work, it's a well deserved A. I was taking hard classes alongside this one and so i didn't make this class a priority and I still did okay. You need to do weekly review sheets to prepare for the open book quizzes!

I loved this teacher so much. He made my first semester at Binghamton a little bit easier. His lectures are very informational and direct material from lectures are on the exam. There is only a midterm and a final. The quizzes each week are open book. I went to his office hours each week and he really helped me improve. Highly recommend this class.

Quizzes are open book and the questions come straight from the review sheet in the course manual. You can also prepare for the capstones before hand because the questions are in the manual. Use previous exam/quizzes to study. Although attendance is not part of grade, he gives info during lecture that will directly be on exam.

Don't understand how people can do poorly in this class. Just do your weekly readings, study an hour before every testquiz and you'll be fine. He REPEATS questions on tests from the weekly quizzes. Literally same questions... He also knows what he's talking about

Frazier truly cares more about his students understanding of the material and less about the grade. If you have a problem with the grading you can talk to him and he will make special accommodations. Awesome professor.

Really smart man who knows his material very well but: Boring lectures. Assigns video worksheets which are really annoying. Gives openbook quizzes that are pretty difficult if you dont read the chapters beforehand. Tests & quizzes have HUGE word banks, which make it hard enough, and on different pages than the Qs, so ur always flippin back & forth

Attend lecture and make a good note. Lecture note is helpful for quizzes and a midterm. 40% for one midterm. If your midterm grade is not good, don't expect A.
