Great teacher.I liked him so much that I am taking him again for chem 2. In the beginning of the year I was nervous because I thought that this teacher was going to be way too smart to teach me. However, leaving this class, I actually learned a lot and feel very prepared to go into chem 2. He is the smartest person I met. YOU MUST STUDY & TRY HARD!

Professor Galbraith is a genius. However, I think his intelligence sometimes gets in the way of his ability to teach. Sometimes it seemed as if he couldn't comprehend why some students wouldn't be able to understand what he was teaching. Lectures are good and he answers questions wells, but he definitely challenges you. No extra credit is a bummer!

This is for Gen-Chem 2. He is not a good teacher, he gets confused a lot in class. He explains things, but is unsure of himself. I would take Dr. W before I would take him, her tests are easier and she explains better. His tests are extremely hard and he does not curve. Most test averages are below a 70.

Galbraith is a very smart man! I appreciated having him for gen chem 1. The only issue I had was the exams. His semester exams were difficult; however, his final exam was the easiest exam so don't fret too much about the final exam. Online homework and lab will help boost your grade!!

This guy is the real deal. He doesn't delete comments off of his page like so many other science professors here. Chillest professor you'll ever have.. Chemistry uses up 1 of his brain cells he's a genius.

I thought his lectures were great, he's a very smart man. Has office hours. Unlimited tries on Smart work, so as long as you put effort you can get an easy 100 on homework; his exams? that's another thing. He emphasizes deeply understanding material, and his exams are super painful. Great professor, but save your GPA unless chemistry is your thing.

Practice tests are nothing like the actual exams. Asking him for help is pointless, as he just repeats what he just said. If you are not naturally talented in Chemistry, I would advise avoiding him.

This is one of the best Chemistry teachers i've had. He's very thorough when lecturing and offers help during his office hours. Although i did not do so well in his class, would definitely take this professor again for a science.

Galbraith doesn't get enough credit. He's actually a pretty good teacher. He's waaay better than Wojciechowicz. He can be a bit confusing at times, but just ask him to clarify and you'll be all set

Very smart man, but like most chemistry professors teaching general chem sucks and they only want to teach what their favorite/focus was. Tough Class, tests were difficult, Online HW saved my grade from a failure. Overall not most effective teacher all power points in class. Read textbook and do as much practice as possible would be my best advice.

I don't think Galbraith realizes how smart he is... This guy is super smart... Which can be problematic at times for students in Gen Chem. Like any chem class, important to do as many problems as possible. Great guy overall

He is a nice guy and a fair grader. He is an intellectual teacher who may confuse those who have trouble with chemistry. His tests can be hard but your grade can be saved through HW and lab. Personally I like the class but many others struggle with it.

Galbraith tries really hard, but he is just not that good at teaching chemistry. It's hard for him to simplify what to him may be obvious. The online HW and Lab will save your grade. Chemistry will suck no matter where you go! I transferred to a different school and it's even HARDER here. I wish i was still taking chem at Marist.

Nice guy. Reads off of slides and then post slides online. very useful for studying or in case you miss class. Moves very quickly in class though and expects you know everything. Test are not long or bad. If you read the text book and do the work, you should be fine

Galbraith is a great guy. He really loves chem...I just wish he knew how to teach it. He should not be teaching gen. chem because it is introductory. He thinks we know it all already. Not a good teacher. Would recomend woolridge.
