Comment:

One of the most fun professors I've have in CS/CEG, but don't expect to get an easy A. He is relaxed, very knowledgeable, and likes to initiate discussions. He'll ask the class questions a lot, so make sure to pay attention and don't be afraid to be wrong.

Perhaps the poster child for Adult ADHD, Dr. Gallagher has a unique teaching style which is entertaining and informative. He is easily distracted and will go off on tangents. But when it is time to get down to business, he does so. Very approachable outside of class, and will take the time to help. Occasionally he will bring donuts too.

Comment:

He was an incredible teacher. He was funny, easy to understand, and really cared about each student. Once, he forgot to bring back our quizzes a few times in a row, so he brought us Bill's doughnuts, so that's a bonus. Overall, he is a wonderful professor, and I would definitely take his classes again.

Dr. Gallagher is an extremely knowledgeable professor and is very easy to get along with. His office hours are great and his lectures and coursework are always very educational. He is definitely the best professor I have ever had. The only bad thing I can say about him is that he is sidetracked easily, though sometimes it makes things entertaining.

Gallagher is incredibly charismatic and is a blast to be around. He really knows how to say things in a way that will stick with you (ask him about strip poles & eigenvectors sometime). His course on data analysis was the most influential class that I took at WSU. Grade wise, he is on the easy side of fair.

Dr. Gallagher is a great prof. He introduces course material with a preview of why this material is important and how it can be used in the real world. His classes are fun and informative. The labs for this class are no joke, so do not procrastinate. If you are thorough with your lab work, the tests should be easy.

Good Prof! His tests are very similar to the practice tests which is great b/c you don't have to spend a lot of time cramming in stuff that you'll just forget after the test- I learned a lot. A little too much PowerPoint, but otherwise great!
