At first, Geerdes intimidated me, but he turned out to be really funny and cool. He knows what he's talking about and gives good feedback. Just don't be embarrassed if he tells you what you did wrong in front of the class. Bonus points (not literally) if you get his references to old movies or classic rock bands.

He can be pretty abrasive, but he does know what he's talking about. Very mandatory attendance, so as long as you show up and listen to half of what he says you'll do fine.

He's very strict and he likes things done a very specific way but if you pay attention in class you'll do well. He gives you everything you need for quizzes and assignments. Don't hand in anything late!

Geerdes is very clear and lays out his expectations from the very beginning. Radio production is by no means a hard class. He won't throw you any surprises. His lectures are very clear, but it's like being lectured by your dad the whole time.
