I thought he was fantastic as a teacher, person and role model. In fact I have continued to stay in touch with him (and his family) after grad, as a mentor.... He helped me if I had questions and is clearly knowledgable and passionate...I even ended up becoming a history major, even though previously I'd thought it was boring. A stand up guy!

He spends 20% of class on jokes and making fun of students. If he decides you aren't fun, he ignores you and it unfortunately comes into play in grading. I worked hard in his course, and was an A student, but ended up with a C in his course. No support or help. Unfair and poor teacher!

Best history teacher I ever had. He has a very keen attention to detail and his knowledge of history is vast. He is an expert on Civil War history and, even though he tells bad jokes, is a great, great guy. Also, he is a war hero from the Vietnam War. He wont volunteer that information to you but it shows the kind of person he is.

Had Professor Glenn in 89 or 90 (can't remember). He was a visiting prof then, I believe. He was vibrant and engaging. I remember his class being entertaining and interesting, not too difficult, not too easy. Nice guy. Recommended.
