Good ole' Professor Hendrix! I have taken 3 classes with him and love him. If you put the time in to study for 4 tests a semester, it is super easy. Don't hesitate to make outside of class references with him. Hendrix often gave extra credit to history students who applied what they learned in arch studio. If you put your time in, he will notice.

Hendrix is a great teacher. He is full of stories and experiences that he is constantly sharing with the class, to help us relate and learn. He gives 4 exams and 1 paper. All exams have half of the vocab on it, and 5 facts must be stated for each. Take good notes, they will be useful when studying. If you pay attention in class, you will get an A.

Hendrix is a legend in the architecture programs. He's worked with and met some of the biggest names around the world, gives incredibly intelligent lectures based off of his own experiences with the material, and his stories are great. You will come to see him as a peer by the end of the semester, I'm taking theory with him next. Extremely excited

Hendrix overall is a great professor. He's been around the block, lived a great life (you'll understand from his stories), and is happy to share his knowledge. His lectures can be dry, but his classes are all lined up the same: I speak, you take notes, I give you a test where you give me five facts about what I've spoken about. Straight forward.

Hendrix is a nice guy and clearly knows his stuff (he's authored many books), but oh man his lectures put you to sleep. The material is easy enough (put in a few hours of studying the night before a test and I nearly aced every one), but make sure you take decent notes. I have him again this fall.

He has pictures and knows architecture and it's history very well but when he lectures he puts me to sleep. I procrastinated a lot for his class and I still got a B+. He is helpful if you have questions and he really does connect with students by show us he has a sense of humor. I enjoy him as a teacher just not lecturing.

This class was extremely easy. We only learned facts just to spit them back out at test time. Didn't learn very much. He is very intelligent, however, his teaching ability could definitely improve.

He loves what he is teaching and it shows. His test aren't bad you just have to do some memorizations. He uses lots of personal experiences because he has seen most of the places you study up close. He uses his own photographs and tells you things to do if you visit different places.

Boring class. Takes attendance so you have to show up, and lectures for 90 minutes. There are only 4 tests, and you have to memorize the painting name, artist, and 3 other facts about it. If you can do that, then you get an easy A.
