I've had him for most of my CEN courses and he can be a jerk at times, but he knows his material inside and out. Don't be afraid of his lectures as long as you attend and do the assignments you'll be rewarded. Definitely see him if you have ANY questions; he's really helpful. Trust.

Prof. Heydweiller teaches the hardest CEN classes at Syracuse, so the CEN students will have him many times. At first he may seem cold but his teaching style is such that he makes you go and discuss your work with him one on one. Overall he is a great guy and will always help if you can show him you have already tried on your own. Get to know him!

the information given in class does not correspond with exams. it is too easy to make stupid mistakes with the calculator for a writen exam--why we should use computers! not a very approachable guy.
