I learnt SO much with him. My favorite teacher. Learnt so much each class. Totally worth the money and time that you sit in his class. High recommended. He teaches like he had experience. Kind heart and replies email fast. I learn just by looking at him teach. Very organized. If you wanna slack, take someone else but u will def regret it.

I agree with the person who said beware of lazy people commenting here. Dr. Perelmuter is actually one of my favorite professors. Does he give a good amount of work? Absolutely, but it's college, and if you're not willing to work hard, you should probably reconsider. He does have high expectations, but he also makes them clear. DO HIS WORK!

Beware of the negative comments some people are lazy.i was sure would fail especially since I'd be student teaching at the same time. This professor is extremely helpful, fair and understanding. He is a terrific teacher and yes he asks that you correct you papers so that when you have a resume you don't look like a fool! Upperclassmen take him!!

There are a number of projects as well as a teacher-artist collaboration with Lincoln Center. Although this professor does use C&R method for grading papers it is useful to see your own mistakes. He is a fair grader if you do what he asks. Overall this class is better than other edu classes. It is not completely useless.

He is a total ass. You think you are doing wonderfull, and then he stabs you with your mid-term grade. I am an honors student and recieved an F as my mid-term grade. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!! if you care about your GPA.

Teaches you how to teach, and by the end of the course you are a pro in the theory of aesthetic education.***CAUTION*** 1016 helps you for other courses but it kills your GPA because he is a VERY HARD GRADER. Lends you the book for the course and every class there is a sum up. One field trip and final project. Take someone else if you can.

Great professor, if you are truley interested in the teaching profession you will benefit. His projects seem pointless when you are thinking of it from a college students' standpoint but as a future teacher they are amazing. He is a fair grader and gives you a chance to do papers over if they are not up his standards.

This man makes me crazy. You work so hard on a paper and if he doesn't like your word choice he'll make corrections and then make you re-hand it in. The midterm is ridiculous and he makes Lincoln Center teachers do most of his work. He is obnoxious, arrogant and conceited. DON'T TAKE HIM!
