Dr. Jacobs is an amazing professor. He expects you to do your work and take notes, but he's extremely intelligent and knows what he's talking about. Very interesting person and really cares about his students and what they learn in his class!! These bad ratings are just ridiculous. You have to actually do work in college...its not for slacking off.

Overall, I really enjoyed his class. The final writing paper killed me but that was mostly because I left it to the very last minute. I got on A on it though so I felt good about it. I've read the other reviews on Dr. Jacobs and I mostly think that his English 101-102 students did not get the same experience I did in ENG 325. I loved his class.

I took his class for two months during the spring semester and it was the worst two months of my life. He was extremely difficult to get along with. I would have stomach cramps sitting in his class. I was so relieved when I withdrew from his class. NEVER TAKE HIS CLASS! He will make your life miserable.

This guy is weird, intimidating, and kinda scary. I've heard horror stories about how he insults students.
