Comment:

One of the best, insightful, and open-minded professors I've ever had. I reccomend him to everyone. Each one of his classes are so interesting. There's not a lot of work just pay attention to his lectures. He's a very interesting person with great experience in the field.

Comment:

It is impossible to fail his class if you show up and take notes. He makes psychology so interesting and teaches in a manner that makes the information stick, you will remember everything even a year after you take his class. I honestly couldn't wait for his class every week. I would recommend him to anyone!

I really enjoyed taking his class. He makes all the classes very fun, so you won't want to miss them. You can look at powerpoints that he puts online, but you probably won't need them since he pretty much goes over everything in the class. As long as you're paying attention you should be able to get a good grade.

His lectures are very entertaining, insightful, and thought-provoking. He supplies PowerPoints to study from along with a study guide and review session before each exam. If you show up, pay attention, and study, I don't see how you could do poorly in this class.

Dr. Jacobs is an AMAZING professor, I 100% recommend taking his class. He is not one for notes or power points, he just sits and lectures, but he makes it clear what is most important. He makes class fun, and tells you exactly what to expect on exams. Funny, caring, and gets everyone in class involved in topics.

Great professor! Includes students in his lectures to make it more understandable. Funny guy and very smart. If you don't understand something he will sit there in class and explain it 10 different ways until you get it and will also assist in office hours. Attendance is not mandatory but you go because you want to. would take him again!

Loved this class and prof. He really knows what he's talking about and how to explain the concepts to students. he makes lectures interesting, only class i never wanted to skip. Clearly tells you what will be on the tests and gives review days for questions. he's funny and engaging and i wish he taught more classes i would love to take him again!

Great Teacher. Lectures are sometimes a little scatter brained but this is a guy in the field that really knows his stuff and cares. Great Teacher with real life knowledge. Highly recommended. He tells you exactly what to study for.

Dr. Jacobs is a really good professor in the sense that he makes an attempt to relate all class material to each person and engage everybody. He is often times funny and I have never had a bad lecture in that class. The course material is interesting and Dr. Jacobs really brings it to life.

Dr. Jacob is a rather interesting professor. Dr Jacob definitely makes lectures rather interesting and you can learn a lot from him, very knowladgebale about the material he discuses. the book he gets sucks for the price you might as well buy the DMS-V its the same material and you will use it if your a psych major. i would recomend taking him

Easy, fun, and interesting class. And he's the nicest guy. His classes are always full, but he'll still say hi to you in the hall years after you take his course. If you want a class with him, register as early as possible! He's very popular.

Great guy! I took this as a summer course and he made it worth the time!! Not once did I dread going to his class and I learned a lot that I can actually remember. With good attendance tests should be easy and he gives great study guides!!

Loved him. He keeps things amusing and the material is interesting. Don't bother buying the book, there are just 3 exams and literally every question is from his lectures. Just make sure you keep up and write down everything he says in class and re-read your notes before tests and you'll get an A.

Dr. Jacobs is awesome. Great class and he's very helpful. Classes are all lecturing but you learn about really interesting things. 3 exams, are all straight forward, make sure to take good notes and study. I highly recommend him for any class! I never bought his book and did well in his class.

Comment:

Jacobs really knows his stuff. His style is mostly lecture so you should make sure you can keep up and take good notes. You will have a paper to write (case study or research). You'll also be watching a movie for a good portion of the class where he stops it and makes comments from his point of view as a Dr. Get the Tyco. This class is so much fun!
